Biographie

After my studies in Paris (school Arts 1978), I travel in Europe. I live in Rome (Italy) for two years. Journey in Berlin and Prague, where I discovered expressionism.
I come back in France with many sketchbooks of places and people I've met and the desire to paint. In Paris, I freelance for book publishing companies and with a group of artists and architects in the Marais, I organize exhibitions. I also took the time to paint a little.
In 2007, I just live in Holland with my companion. It is Dutch.
Here I discovered the Dutch master especially Frans Hals and Isaac Israel that inspire me. Since that day, I dedicate myself to painting. I still learning and I share my work with everyone.

Inspiration / Expressive portraits of women.

Each artist has his way of working and a unique perspective. For me, it is the expression of feelings through the portraits of women that we can recognize.
Making a mood or a visible remembrance and stop time. In a fleeting gesture, in light of our fast lives.
My colors are red, blue, yellow and white, which I blend or not. I often work in series, and I imagine a story between these portraits of women. A pass history on this earth and what happens there ...
